Red Wines

A blend of Iowa Marechal Foch and Syrah grapes. Full bodied with ample fruit. Serve at room temperature with prime rib.

   

A tribute to a man outstanding in his field. Dad loved his vineyard and it seemed appropriate we dedicate this dry red wine in his memory. Serve with blue cheese burgers or barbecue.

This will be the first release of our Petite Pearl grapes that were planted in 2014 in dads memory. Annually we will release a limited amount of this wine grown in our McGregor vineyard. This years release will be the third Saturday of June and will consist of just 14 cases but we expect to produce 300 gallons per year when the vines are in full production.

Oaked dry red wine that is produced from Iowa grown Marquette grapes. Serve at cellar temperature with red meats.

   

Our Marquette Rosé is crisp & clean with notes of Cherry and Strawberry. Pairs well with grilled chicken and fish.

   

This semi-dry Rosé wine is a blend of Wisconsin Frontenac grapes and white grapes grown in our vineyard at the Rohde family farm; serve slightly chilled.

   

Light Semi-Sweet red wine field blend of Marechal Foch and Frontenac grapes.  Serve chilled.

   

Our own sweet Concord grape wine finished w/ a character all its own.  Serve chilled w/ light foods & cheeses. 

   

White Wines

An American white grape wine that is clean, crisp and subtle. Pairs well with seafood or fowl.

   

A tribute to a man outstanding in his field. Roger loved his vineyard and it seemed appropriate we dedicate this Brianna grape wine in his memory. Serve slightly chilled with seafood or fowl.

A semi-sweet white wine produced from the Frontenac Gris grape that is light bodied and very Crisp making it the perfect summer sipper.

   

Our own semi-sweet white wine that will make you hum The Sound of Music. Use with seafood and fowl.

   

Crisp and semi-sweet, this wine is a surprising delight to enjoy with every occasion and a diversity of fare from crème brulee to foie gras. Valvin Muscat grape wine

   

Our special blend of fragrant & aromatic white grapes (Edelweiss, Moscato)  makes a sweet, seductive harvest wine. 

   

This La Crescent Grape wine combines exquisite fruit flavors of apricot and peach with invigorating acidity. 

This Double Gold award winning release of our La Crescent Grape wine is available only at the winery.

   

An all-purpose semi-sweet Catawba Grape wine. Serve chilled with baked goods such as scones, cookies and fruit pies.

Berry Wines

Huge, juicy raspberry from start to finish.  Crisp and not too sweet, it would be a hit at salad luncheons served with a nice mixed salad topped with grilled chicken and a splash of raspberry vinaigrette.  Just sweet enough to go with fruit desserts like raspberry tiramisu. 

   

This semi-sweet blueberry wine has a pretty light ruby color, an aroma of fresh berries.  The pleasantly sweet finish culminates with berry jam.  This wine will certainly work well with dessert, but would be equally enjoyable with a salad dressed with vinaigrette made with some of the same wine.  

   

The delicious taste of fresh picked blackberries is overwhelming in this sweet berry wine. Serve chilled with your favorite dessert or all by itself.

Campfire Hootch has become the best selling wine at our Tasting Room.

It is a blend of grapes and berries that can be grown throughout the state of Iowa.

It’s Holiday time every day with this bright red, tart and sweet Cranberry wine. Serve with pheasant, quail, turkey or pork.

A hint of peach nectar, serve chilled with cobblers or Iowa pork   This limited production seasonal wine is released the third weekend of June every year. Come in and sample this Gold Medal winning wine while it's still available. Available June 1st

Our Pumpkin wine is light, refreshing, fruit-forward and slightly sweet. Serve mulled with pumpkin pie spices.Available October 1st.

Finally a wine that showcases the sassiness of the winemakers better half. Serve chilled on it's own or with light dishes.

Apple wine fermented with organic cinnamon, orange peel, allspice and cloves;  Serve chilled or warmed in microwave. Available Labor Day Weekend

Dessert Wines

This estate grown Ruby Port wine was produced from Marquette and Marechal Foch grapes grown at our vineyard in Fayette County.. Double Gold medal winner at the 2013 Indy International wine competition. 375 ml Bottle.

   

Blackberry bursting with Chocolate flavor makes this Dessert wine an Autumn treat. Released right around the first of October every year.

   

Delectably sweet strawberries are enrobed in rich creamy chocolate to create an unforgetable taste experience to be savored. This is a seasonal wine bottled in January for Valentines Day. Limited.

   

 Enjoy the tartness and sweetness of fresh red raspberries with a hint of chocolate.  Delightful!!
