Food Pairings

Roasted Turkey Breast

1 - 4-5 lb turkey breast, skin on
2 Tbsp melted butter
Kosher salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
½ cup chicken stock or turkey stock for basting

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Place the turkey breast on a rack in a roasting pan.
  3. Brush turkey with the melted butter, then season generously with Kosher salt and black pepper.
  4. Roast for 45 minutes to 1 hour, basting twice with stock — once after about 15 minutes and again about 15 minutes later.
  5. When thermometer reads 155°F, remove the turkey from the oven. Cover loosely with foil and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.

Eagles Landing Winery is a small family business located in downtown Marquette Iowa along the Mississippi River on the Great River Road.
We planted our first grapes in 1999 and have been producing our own "Marquette Maid" branded wines since 2003. Our wines can be found at over 125 locations in northeast Iowa and Southwest Wisconsin.

Winery Hours: Daily 10-5

Closed Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and New Years Day.

We will close early on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve so call ahead.
